Santa Monica 311 keeps everyday city requests in one place
Santa Monica 311 gives residents one non-emergency door for city service requests, questions, compliments, maintenance issues, app reports, email, phone, and online contact.
Santa Monica 311 is the cleaner door for everyday city requests that are not emergencies. It can be used to submit a service request, ask a question, share a compliment, or report something that needs maintenance.
That is handy in a city where a single block can include apartments, shops, beach traffic, parking rules, alleys, trees, trash, sidewalks, and visitors who are not sure which department handles what. The request does better when the city has the spot and the short version of the problem.
Use the online form, app, email, or phone path. Add the closest address or cross street, a short description, and a photo when the issue can be seen. If the matter is police, fire, a live hazard, a state highway, or a private utility issue, use the more exact emergency or agency contact instead.
