The short version
California Porch is a public-information directory operated by Emma Rose Holdings LLC. We try to collect as little personal information as possible. You can browse notes, places, guides, and most tools without creating an account.
Tool inputs
Calculators and routers run in your browser. They are planning aids, not account systems. Do not enter Social Security numbers, account numbers, claim numbers, medical details, passwords, or other sensitive records into this site.
Hosting and basic logs
Like most websites, the hosting provider may process basic technical logs such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages requested, dates, times, and error information. Those logs help keep the site working and secure.
Analytics, ads, and email
The current California site does not require a login. If analytics, advertising, newsletters, feedback forms, or other data-collection features are added, this notice should be updated to explain what is collected, why, and which service providers handle it.
Outside sites
California Porch links to public agencies and other websites. Those sites have their own privacy notices and may collect information under their own rules.
