Carlsbad Connects is for the small fixes you can pin on a map
Carlsbad Connects is the city tool for fixable local problems you can describe and place on a map. The city uses it for things like potholes, sidewalk cracks, traffic light outages, graffiti, and code enforcement issues.
That makes it useful in a spread-out coastal city where the same errand could be near a beach access point, a school, a village street, a business park, a lagoon edge, or a neighborhood park. The city needs the exact spot ahead of a long story.
When you send a report, include the nearest address or cross street, the side of the road if that matters, and a photo when it helps. For a traffic signal, streetlight, sidewalk hazard, or recurring code issue, a clear location can save back-and-forth.
Some issues still belong somewhere else. Emergencies need emergency help. Utility billing, permits, police reports, and private-property disputes may have their own path. But for everyday public fixes around town, Carlsbad Connects is the lane to know.
