Tracy utility service has separate start and stop forms
Tracy utility customers use city Finance pages to start service, stop service, pay bills, and contact customer service, with move-out timing especially important.
Tracy keeps utility start, stop, and bill payment links together on the Finance utility page. If you are moving in, use the start service form. Be ready to fill out an application and provide documents.
If you are moving out, use the stop service form once the date is clear. Stop requests are not backdated. The final bill comes after the stop date.
Renters may see a deposit, and each service address gets its own account. Property owners should also notice the base charge detail, because some charges can continue when a place is vacant.
Have the service address, move date, account number if you have one, and a good phone or email ready before you start.
