Temecula project questions start at the Permit Center
Temecula’s Permit Center is a helpful first stop when a project has more than one city question. Building and Safety handles plan check, building permits, and inspections. The same page also gives the Business License contact.
That helps when the work touches both the space and the activity. A sign, restaurant change, home business, office move, or tenant project can raise both questions.
Before you call or use the portal, write down the address and the work you want to do. Note whether plumbing, electrical work, signs, or a change in use are involved.
If a business is part of it, add the business activity and owner contact. The Permit Center helps you ask the right desk first.

California Porch explains the path. The official source is still the place to confirm the current rule, fee, form, map, deadline, or office decision.
Use the official page before you spend money, file paperwork, rely on a deadline, or change a property.
