Old Town Newhall keeps Santa Clarita's western and arts side visible

Old Town Newhall gives Santa Clarita a walkable arts, dining, and western-history center without making that one district stand in for the whole city.

Santa ClaritaOld Town Newhallarts

Old Town Newhall is one of the easiest places to see Santa Clarita with a little older street life. It has shops, food, entertainment, and a western-film thread that still shows up through the Walk of Western Stars.

That does not mean the whole city feels like Old Town. Santa Clarita is spread across valleys, newer neighborhoods, trails, parks, and busy roads. Old Town is the smaller center where history and arts are easier to read on foot.

The MAIN adds another layer. It hosts theater, comedy, music, film, art, classes, and community events. For a simple visit, pair a meal or coffee with one walkable stop, then check the current calendar before counting on a show.
