Santa Ana water bills run through Municipal Utility Services
Santa Ana's Municipal Utility Services office handles water account questions, online MUS accounts, payments, and after-hours water emergency contacts.
In Santa Ana, a water bill question usually goes to Municipal Utility Services, or MUS. MUS sits under the Treasury Division. It covers the basic service charge, water use, utility users’ tax, refuse, sanitation, and sewer service charge.
The MUS page is the right place for bill payment, online accounts, and payment history. It also gives a regular office contact and a separate after-hours water emergency contact. That split helps when the issue is a leak, no water, or something that cannot wait until the next business day.
It is easy to mix this up with a street or code request. Those are local too, but they use a different path. For a bill or account, use MUS. For a pothole, streetlight, tree, or other neighborhood report, use the city’s report-an-issue path.
