Mount Rubidoux is Riverside's everyday hill

Mount Rubidoux is a 161-acre Riverside park and landmark west of downtown, with paved roads, dirt trails, and dawn-to-dusk access.

RiversideMount Rubidouxwalking trail

Mount Rubidoux is the kind of landmark that works for visitors and regulars. You can treat it like a short hike, a morning walk, a view of town, or a small piece of Riverside history.

The park covers 161 acres west of downtown. It has 3.5 miles of paved roads, several dirt trails, and historic markers, with the summit cross dedicated to Father Junipero Serra. The park is closed to vehicles and open from dawn until dusk.

It works best as a daylight outing. Parking starts at Ryan Bonaminio Park, the trail does not have lighting, and the park closes at dusk.
