Murrieta Fix It is for local problems you can point to
Murrieta Fix It is best for local problems you can point to on a map. Think potholes, graffiti, damaged trees, playground equipment, street signs, sidewalks, abandoned vehicles, or a streetlight that is not working.
The app and portal are built around location. Use the map pin, add the nearest address or cross street, and attach a photo when the issue is not obvious from the street. A photo of a broken sign, lifted sidewalk, or damaged play area can save a lot of back-and-forth.
Keep the description plain and specific. “Sidewalk lifted by tree roots in front of 123 Main” is stronger than “sidewalk problem.” If the issue is near a school, park, trail, or shopping center entrance, include that detail.
Murrieta has a lot of neighborhood streets that curve through subdivisions. If the issue is on a corner, say which side of the street it is on. If it is along a trail, park, or landscaped slope, use the closest entrance or landmark.
Murrieta Fix It also lets you track the city’s response. That makes it a practical route for normal neighborhood fixes that are important but not emergencies.
