Hesperia bulky pickup needs an appointment, not a curb surprise
Hesperia's trash pages explain regular carts, bulky item appointments, extra green waste, and Advance Disposal's role in special pickups.
Hesperia handles trash a little differently from cities where every house has separate color carts. Recyclables are sorted after collection at the materials recovery facility, while residents still need to follow cart placement and bagging rules at the curb.
Large items are a separate routine. Single-family residents can schedule bulky pickup four times per year, up to eight bulky items total, and the appointment needs to be made at least one week ahead. Items also need to be at the curb by 6 a.m. on the assigned collection day.
The trash page is also useful for extra green waste. If yard cleanup runs bigger than the regular cart, residents can call Advance Disposal for a special pickup tied to the regular collection date. In the high desert, where yard work, wind, and cleanup days can pile up fast, the appointment step is the detail that keeps the chore simple.
