Hemet building permits start with the online portal or City Hall

For work on a Hemet property, the permit source depends on the scope of work. Once the project is clear, the portal, email, or counter path makes more sense.
The Community Development Web Portal can be used to apply for a new permit, check plan review status, and handle other building steps. First-time portal access may need an email request to Building staff, so it is smart not to wait until the last minute.
