Diamond Bar bulky pickup has a yearly limit

Diamond Bar residents can schedule bulky item pickups for large household items, with up to four free pickups each year and extra pickups subject to charges.

Diamond Barbulky item pickuptrash service

Diamond Bar gives residents a regular way to get rid of big household items that do not fit in the cart. The bulky item pickup program is for things like furniture, mattresses, appliances, and electronic waste.

The part worth remembering is the yearly limit. Residents are allowed up to four free bulky item pickups each year. Extra pickups in the same year may cost more, so it helps to group items when you can instead of using a pickup for one small thing.

This is most useful during a move, a garage cleanout, a furniture swap, or an appliance replacement. It is also better than leaving a large item at the curb and hoping it disappears. A scheduled pickup gives the hauler the item type, address, and timing before the truck comes through.

Before scheduling, make a quick list of the items, especially if one is an appliance or e-waste. Check whether the item belongs in bulky pickup or needs another disposal path, such as household hazardous waste. Put the item out only for the scheduled pickup window, and keep regular carts, parked cars, mailboxes, and sidewalks clear enough for collection. If you live in a condo, apartment, or HOA setting, it is also smart to check the property’s setout rules before pickup day.
