Delano utility setup includes trash contacts

Delano's utility pages point new-service questions to city utility billing and trash questions to Public Works and South Tulare Richgrove Refuse.

Delanoutility billingtrash service

Delano utility setup is easier when you separate the account question from the trash question. The utility page is the place to start for opening, closing, paying, updating, or getting help with a water-service account. Trash service is connected, but the contacts are not exactly the same.

For trash, Delano connects residents with the Public Works Division and South Tulare Richgrove Refuse. STRR is the better lane for collection, recycling, and hauler questions, especially when the question is about pickup service rather than the water account.

This matters when you move in, move out, add a name to an account, ask for an extension, update information, or try to sort out whether a missed pickup is a billing problem or a hauler problem. A water bill, an online utility payment, a trash cart, and a refuse pickup may all feel like one household chore, but Delano splits the help by task.

Before calling, have the service address, account name, move date, item or cart issue, and best contact number ready. If you are asking about trash, say whether it is regular collection, recycling, a missed pickup, or a new-service question. If you are paying or changing the account, say that first so you do not get bounced between the hauler and utility billing.
