Poison Control is worth saving in the phone
California Poison Control gives 24-hour help for poison questions, and the national 1-800-222-1222 number routes callers to local poison experts.
Some household questions need a real person fast. That can mean medicine mix-ups, cleaning products, plants, mushrooms, bites, batteries, cosmetics, or a child who got into something unknown.
California Poison Control is the state poison center system. The national Poison Help number, 1-800-222-1222, routes callers to poison experts. Save it in the phone on a normal day.
For a call, gather the person’s age and weight if you can. Keep the product name, amount, time, and symptoms close by. If someone is unconscious, having trouble breathing, or in immediate danger, use emergency help first.
