ACT Bus gives Alhambra a local loop

Alhambra Community Transit is the city's fixed-route local bus service, with Green and Blue lines that connect daily stops across town.

AlhambraACT Buslocal transit

In a dense San Gabriel Valley city, a local bus can be just as important as the big regional map. Alhambra Community Transit, usually called ACT, is the city’s own fixed-route service.

ACT uses Green and Blue lines. The routes connect places like schools, parks, shopping areas, restaurants, public buildings, Cal State LA, the Metrolink station, and the LA Metro Busway. That makes it useful for short trips that might not line up neatly with a regional rail or express-bus plan.

Route details can move, and Alhambra has posted service-change information for July 2026. So the best habit is to treat the city map as the first page to open. Check the current route, stop, and timing before you count on ACT for an appointment or transfer.
